Senior Ambassador Program
One Earth Writing’s Senior Ambassador program is an opportunity for graduated One Earth Writing Ambassadors to continue writing more deeply among peers in a workshop setting while advancing their leadership skills and community engagement.
Students become more proficient writers and gain skills in offering critical feedback on other writers’ work while expanding their circle of peers and connecting with community through readings, performances and publications.
One Earth Writing builds bridges of friendship, trust, and understanding between teens from different races, faiths and socioeconomic origins, using writing as the connector.
The Senior Ambassadors meet at Madonna University, 36600 Schoolcraft Road, Livonia, MI 48150, 6:30-8:30 p.m. We may visit the Walter P. Reuther Library at Wayne State University, 5401 Cass Avenue, Detroit, MI 48202 at times, to work on our exhibit pieces.
Senior Ambassadors may continue throughout their high school career.
